Available Connections

The MB7900 signal converter provides a 4-20mA signal through an M12 (8-pin) connection, available in both male and female connector versions, or via flying leads. With the MB7900, there’s no need for third-party adapters, daughter boards, or additional workarounds to achieve 4-20mA compatibility—everything is built into the solution.

Note: This is not a standalone product. It must be selected as a configurable option for compatible sensors. Selecting "4-20mA" under output will automatically add the MB7900 Sensor to 4-20mA Signal Converter to the sensor's build which will replace the sensor's native serial output with 4-20mA.

Available in Male plug or Female socket connections, this robust connection ensures reliable data transmission in demanding environments. Female socket comes standard with 3-meter length cabling or can be customized to your specific needs by reaching out to us.

Cable Performance and Recommendations:

Verified Long Distance Operation
Offered at lengths up to 33ft / 10m as a selectable option on applicable sensors and up to 1000ft / 304m length by request. For long distances, adding a 10µF to 100µF capacitor in parallel with the V+/+5 pin and GND pin is a safeguard that can be used to prevent any ranging inconsistencies.

Chaining Sensors
Less than 50ft cable runs should perform as normal. Not recommended for cable runs over 50ft unless tested and verified by the end user.

Available as a connection option on applicable sensors, the Screw Block Terminal gives easy installation flexibility for your projects. Comes soldered on to the sensor, so no additional soldering is needed. Simply use the Screw Block Terminal with the flying leads of your wires. Comes in 7 Pin vertical/straight orientation.

Available as a connection option on applicable sensors or a standalone product, Pin Headers provide simple installation and flexibility for your projects. Comes in either 7 Pin vertical/straight or 7 Pin horizontal/90 Degrees orientation.

The MB7985 Radio Bridge connector allows LoRaWAN connectivity for any WR series sensor with TTL ouput and comes in a 5ft / 1.5m length. Simply select the connection option on any applicable sensor's product page and we will solder on the male plug cable and provide a pairing female socket cable.
